Yes...its time to start chatting about the next season...Alot to discuss...
Will the Lakers and Celtics return to glory or wither away(unlikely)...Will the Big Three get it together and get the so called king his ring(it took Shaq and Wade some time to get the mojo working...so...)...What is the odds of an ol' team like Dallas to repeat? (Can they re-sign Chandler and Barea?) or will there even be a season at all?!? *dun dun DUN!*

Rookies...Free Agency...Rebuilding...Trades...

Lets Talk!

GO MAVS!

Also if a mod wants to change the title to something more appropriate...I am fine with it...I'm just being a homer :oldrazz:

"Lakers could lose three in a row" - Magic Johnson.

What? To the Kings..?

Yeah, that's not going to be happening.

magic has been really hard on the Lakers. I thought they looked really good defensively just need to work on offense. They did good up to the last few minutes.

Pulling up over the longer Deng wouldn't generally be the percentage play there though.

Bulls made the good rotation, Kobe took it into somewhere he couldn't off-load for help, sold himself out and the Bulls D got it done on the play.

I think he could have worked it into a pass to gasol under the basket. Ohh well just first game. Glad NBA is back.

I just thought he had enough space to at least dribble in, stop then shoot, as opposed to going in all the way. Guess he was betting on at least getting a foul called.

Lakers choked, but Rose was nice out there in crunch time...Kobe should have taken the shot or pumpfake foul there

The Knicks really need to fire Dantoni!

Catch-22.

You bring in a new coach who'll crack down and make guys play D and you'll piss off the personnel you have there already, they'll want out and it's back to mediocrity since you'll be in a position of less power when they demand to be traded out.

Have to play out a couple seasons first and then bring in someone who can get the guys there into a defensive system that'll best make use of their few strengths on that end of the floor.

Dwight Howard looks ridiculously disinterested on the defensive end of the floor on rotations. He's still hitting the glass some which will keep his value up as a tradeable commodity, but unless he sucks it up and just swallows whatever goddamn problem he has with his team I can't see them legitimately contending.

Doesn't help when Ryan Anderson is your leading scorer.

Yeah, he's disinterested on both ends, but the defensive end is more obvious for me because I never thought I'd be saying that about Dwight frickin' Howard.

One thing I was worried was the quickness of Ellis, and Curry but it seemed the Clippers were able to stop that w

Even though we lost, I was happy Kobe's legs seemed to be back. He had good lift on his jumpers and was able to move well, we'll see how that holds up.

His wrist is a whole other ordeal though, he needs to stop handling the ball so much with his wrist right now, even though I think if Pau just steps up, that pass doesn't get stolen at the end (not to mention Deng traveling :cmad:)

On another note, how many times do I have to keep telling people how much of a beast Melo is? He's the most polished player in the NBA, offensively speaking, outside of Kobe, but his size adds even more dimensions. If they manage to get the Heat in the playoffs, it'll be undeniable then.

I guess Kobe's gotta do something about that tattoo of his. :hehe:

I'd say 'Melo is the most complete offensive player in the league and has been for a few years now.

And Kobe should have done something about that tattoo from the moment he got it, starting with beating the hell out of the tattoo artist who gave it to him.

I just saw the clip of the referee botching a behind the back pass during an inbound at the Thunder game last night and I think its hilarious. I wish I could've seen it live.

What Tattoo?
Same thing I'm wondering.

Kobe has a tattoo with the name Vanessa on his right arm I believe...

And her hair attached to a halo...

It's quite possibly the worst tattoo I've ever seen.

I'd always seen that goofy looking thing, but never knew exactly what it was.

I was better off beforehand.

Really? It's not that bad. Crowns a bit off center but other than that, I've seen far worse. Case in point:

And now you've seen worse. :o

I believe Kobe got that particular tat as an apology for banging that chick in Colorado and almost going to jail for rape.

Nothing says I'm sorry like shoddy body art.
