If he jumps ship and goes to a team which will use him remotely efficiently he probably will make the playoffs. Over half of the teams in the league make the playoffs every year and he's never struggled to before. His presence would be enough to put a number of teams over that threshold and would be enough to make most playoff teams legitimate contenders.

He'd be better off at most other teams than where he currently is. Why should he stay and put up with this bulls*** for a whole new contract? Spite? That's lunacy.

If Howard has the desire to prove he's a champion and build his legacy, he'll stay with the lakers. If he continue's to be soft-spirited, he'll run away from the pressure of the championship or bust mindset of the lakers. But I think being a laker is what Dwight wants and I believe he will stay with them at least another year to prove to himself that he can handle it and come out on top. I think everybody knows that the lakers will make some great offseason moves to help them get there, and Dwight would be a fool to run away from the promising future they will surely build around him.

Of all the teams that had to experiment with this, it had to be the motherf***in' Warriors. And our team has been sliding lately, gaahhhdammit. That's worse than the Pelican name-change.

Are the sleeves going to mandatory for all players on the team?

I always felt like the design of the sleeveless jerseys were to provide maximum freedom for the arms to move.

    Looks okay to me.

But it might as well be spandex.

I'd say that if Dwight has the desire to prove himself a champion he should get the hell out of that toxic environment and look to get his career back on track.

Not a fan of those unis. Kind of like the skintight rugby uniforms more and more teams have been wearing lately. Sleeves, to me, feel less comfortable in basketball.

I mean it shouldn't be a significant factor in their play, but the comfort of the players should come before the idea of a gimmick.

I didn't notice the short in the first picture, but they really don't help the overall look.

They just look weird, like they don't match the top part of the uniform.

In a way, they don't. There's some sort of pinstripe action going on with the shorts, while the jerseys are solid. It looks like there's a difference in the amount of bright ass yellow on each too. :down even more.

Has anyone in the NBA front office even played the game of basketball?

Its downright uncomfortable playing with tight sleeves and definitely affects your shooting form.

:( I could cry right now. Now the Warriors will adjust to playing in these even though they're trying to get out of a slump right now.

That can't be comfortable once they start pouring sweat in those things. I wouldn't want to feel restricted like that.

Could be made of skins like material in which case it wouldn't restrict as much as just be mildly irritating/annoying if you're not disposed to it.

Aren't they designed to wick away sweat faster, cause only other advantage would be less drag I guess.

Now all we need to do is find a way to make them emit white noise to censor everything that KG and Sheed say and we'll have completely swept the sport clean of all that is offensive... With the possible exception of Shawn Marion's jumpshot.

I kinda feel like this is one of Stern's latest attempts to leave a final mark on the game before he's gone.

Why? What's it got to do with Stern?

More likely a cash grab by Rick Welts than any search for legacy by Stern. I mean Stern won't be against it, because he's not against any positive talk of innovation league wide regardless of its effectiveness, but its not like he can or has order/ed the Warriors to wear uniforms with sleeves.

Illegal or not, jersey pulling/tugging has always been apart of the game and I would assume most people/players don't mind it since everyone does it...so as progressive as they may appear, the tighter shirts don't really solve anything nor do they have any real advantages besides sweat wicking...

Do the Warriors even sell enough jerseys to warrant this?
