2012 NFL Thread: Football's Fabulous Final Four

Amazing that he might be out of the NFL altogether now...kinda' feel bad for him.

You found him arrogant?

When he decided to go to NY rather than Jacksonville, it spoke volumes about his arrogance...

:yay:

Regardless of Tebow himself, his fans sure as hell are arrogant. So I hope they feel great that they are directly responsible for costing their golden boy his career.

The poll should be closed... all we're seeing is an increase in the Final Four teams since yesterday...

Christ, when the playoffs began last weekend, there was only 1 or 2 people picking the 49ers, and there might have been 6 or 7 picks for the Pats prior to last night's game...

:cmad: :cmad: :cmad:

:csad:

16 fools picked Denver...

:o

:D

I'm still shocked they lost after what they did to the Ravens a couple weeks ago. I so wanted Ray Lewis out of the playoffs. Dude got away with murder.

Funny you guys are talking so much trash about Tebow, because he's actually the 'spokesperson' for where I work. I should be singing his praises I suppose... :hehe:

I remember talking a little smack about him at the company meeting that introduced him to my friend because while I don't think he's the worst QB out there, he's got a lot of work to do to be considered a decent NFL QB.

I hope tebow finds a team, takes them to the playoffs, and knocks the jets out... Then he needs to retire.

So lets update the poll for the final four teams

That can't be done. Thus, I close it when the final four are here.

Btw...stay tuned for my annual Super Bowl thread coming soon!

Some feel that cold may have had at least a bit to do with it in terms of Manning. But to me, I don't think the cold forced him to make such a bad forced throw like he did for that last INT.

Hell yes he's arrogant, and he proved this year he's not in it for the team. He refuses to play another position that he could benefit the team for (because he certainly as hell can't benefit at QB), and reportedly (although he denied it, but I don't trust the ******** from press conferences in the slightest) got upset and asked to be removed from the Wildcat formation.

Dude's a *****e. And one who has to shove his Jesus love down my throat on top of that, which does nothing more for me than make him that much more irritating.

His coaches proved it more by not even using him, though.

How much were they using the wildcat? Plus, he feels he could lay quarterback, as many QB's would and would say they do. He's still entitled to feel that way even though many of us don't think he can. What specific position did they ask him to be that he allegedly refused?

I don't see his religion having anything to do with it. I really don't think he's been doing anything to jeopardize his playing in the NFL. He's just not what most would feel confident in as a quarterback, and the Jets are the ones who wasted everyone's time getting him. Put it this way ,he's in now way responsible for them not being more successful this year....simply because the team couldn't make use of him. If anyone was in that situation, after being a starter and a winner of a playoff game for another team (which Peyton Manning could not), they'd probably feel the same way or even worse.

I don't think he's a starting QB and I'm not a Tebow fan/apologist, but it's not like he's paying karma for some great wrong that he did, screwed someone over, or hindered someone's success. Is he really arrogant for not sharing the view of some that say he just sucks? If he's fired or replaced or removed as a quarterback by coaches etc, that's one thing...but we can't just say that he shouldn't want the chance to be one.
