Our kicker and offensivecoordinator cost us the game

Smith back against Miami please. Let him finish his season. Not only has he not done anything to lose his job, Kaepernick hasn't done anything to take it. He's not throwing 3 TDs a game, he's not throwing over 300 yards a game. He's been very comparable to Smith in all his outings thus far.

You haven't been paying attention then.

Big plays are great, but they clearly don't always win games or even end up in touchdowns. Congrats on a 50 yard run but finishing counts also. 3-1 TD-INT in 3 games. It should take more than that to take over someone elses job.

It took Smith over 300 completions to muster 7 big plays down the field. It took Kaepernick 70 competions to match that production.

It's logical to make Colin the starter (especially after shredding The Bear's D). You may not agree with it but Kaepernick has earned the starting gig.

F***ING Detroit...

I needed you to beat Indianapolis, then you mess it all up at the last minute. That game was yours.

:cmad: :cmad: :cmad:

And that production has gotten the team a tie, 2 wins (1 if it wasn't for 2 INTs for TDs) and a loss. I'm not saying Kaep doesn't have the bigger upside, but he hasn't done enough to steal Smith's job midseason. Make that switch in the off-season.

Your criticism confuses me.

Kaepernick only has three career starts and you're already trying to compare his win record to Smith's (who's been starting in a 49ers' jersey for years)? Sorry pal, that's not how it works. Harbaugh started Kaepernick because he stretches the field, and he's a pretty accurate QB while doing so.

Forget San Fran and Alex Smith. Lets talk about the Steelers actually getting something going now.

Ed Reed was having a horrible game until that int.

I wonder how Ben must be feeling deep inside, knowing that the Steelers are actually doing pretty well without him tonight, I bet it must eat at him inside, thinking to himself ''the team will loose then I shall return in all my glory and get a victory''.

Here's a shocker: Brady Quinn actually played like an NFL QB today, instead of someone who's auditioning for a spot on the 2013 Hamilton Tiger Cats of the CFL.

Actually, Ben was thinking "Sweet, my team won this crucial game tonight. Now we get more breathing room so we can try and take this division back."

Come on Philip Rivers. Tie this damn game, please.

congrats to the steelers on that win.

I can't believe the Charlie Batch-led Steelers could beat the Ravens.
