I don't get it. People who claim 3rd party always harp on how bad Democrat and Republican candidates are, but what makes them think that these 3rd party candidates are going to be any more noble than the politicians they despise? 3rd party candidates are politicians also...
Well, it is getting to the point where we might as well give 3rd parties a shot at being President.
Well the simple fact of the matter is Johnson's record in New Mexico. He had a balanced budget, which we sorely need, he got things done, and he vetoed items that weren't needed and were wasteful. He was a Republican governor in a democrat majority and he still got things done. That's why people like him and that's why people are voting for him
Yep. Two-term Republican Governor at that.
But honestly don't you feel like they should vote for the candidate who actually has a shot at winning the election. Either the democrat, or republican. I don't understand the logic in voting for a party you know has 0 shot at winning
How do you expect change to happen, when you keep voting for the same two choices? And this election, both those two choices suck.
No they shouldn't. The problem is everyone says "They have no shot" when in reality if they would just vote for them, they would actually win. People say "It's a wasted vote" but it's not. A wasted vote is voting for someone you consider to be the lesser of two evils. That's a stupid vote. You're not voting for who you think would be best, but for who would be the less horrible of the two choices.
This.
