DoomsdayApex, we'll see you guys Monday Night at Carolina in November.

Yeah Maooz, that's gonna be a great game (assuming we're still on a roll). The Eagles and Bills tired down our defense with their uptempo offenses, and seeing as The Patriots employ a similar offense it'll be a big test to see whether or not we learned anything from those two games.

It's not hate for mobile QB's.

It's the reality that Kaepernick has led a completely inept and incompetent offense for 2 straight games. Kaepernick has yet to beat the Seattle Seahawks, who are the 49ers biggest rivals right now, and with all due respect to the Colts who are a good team, they don't have an elite defense and they made Kaepernick look like an absolute joke.

He is seriously regressing, and he is unable to make anything happen. This "playmaker" has been responsible for 6 turnovers in the last 2 games, meanwhile the offense has put up a combined 10 points in the same timespan. The 49ers are already 2 back to the Seahawks, who also currently own the tie breaker, and it's only week 3.

The league has caught up to the read-option, and now Colin Kaepernick can't function. Until the final few minutes when things finally snowballed, the defense had held Indy to 13 points, and Colin STILL couldn't get anything going. The defense also held Seattle as low as 12 points for a good chunk of last week's game, and Kaepernick was unable to get anything going. The defense isn't the problem here. It's Kaepernick's inability to apparently beat anyone other than Green Bay.

You've got to be kidding me.:funny:

So let me get this straight, you're kicking Kaepernick while he's down because he's had two straight mediocre performances? Oh that's rich. Need I remind you that Rodgers and Brady appeared subpar against that Seahawk secondary. Colin is still a freakin' kid at the position -- a developing QB. Despite how ESPN overhyped both RG3 and Kaepernick, they remain talented youngsters.

It's side-splitting to watch critics come out like clockwork and bash these guys when they have a crappy game (ahem, what QB doesn't?) or even a bad play, yet where are you skeptics when they win? I'm sorry but y'all are full of it. Both RG3 and Kaepernick might be struggling because their offenses have limited the Read-Option but that's on Harbaugh and Shanahan for abandoning the strengths to their offense so abruptly without a proper transition. These type of systems depend on Zone-Blocking Schemes -- they're not meant for traditional vertical, drop backs. Furthermore, while there are weaknesses to RG3 and Kaepernick as pure drop back passers, they've got the potential to be above average in the pocket.

Defenses have figured out The Read Option????? :lmao: Please tell The Giants then because Cam Newton just obliterated their defense (one of the best D-Lines in the league) today on the 10 Read-Option plays alone. Cam averaged 21.9 yards on each Read-Option play (along with 2 TDs). Or how about Russell Wilson last week? The Seahawks ran 15 Option plays with a 18.4 yard average (and also 2 TDs) against a Top 5 defense that practices against Colin Kaepernick everyday. No, The NFL has clearly NOT caught up to The Read Option. Hell, it still hasn't caught up to The Spread Offense yet.

Man, that Todd Haley is a bad luck charm for coaches.

Everyone is obliterating the Giants D , doomsday.

Point?

I suggest you re-read my debate point before commenting on a sample size. If The Read-Option puzzle has been solved, then why did Cam and Wilson have their way? I mean... it's so obvious now, right? Only a horrific and poorly coached defense can fail to stop the Read Option. :o

Roethlisberger, Brown, Dwyer and the entire defense played a solid game. For the most part, the offense finally looked liked what it should be. Now here I go repeating the same thing that every single Pittsburgh fan has been complaining about for the past 3 years.

That F***ING OFFENSIVE LINE. HOLY S***. The undisputed, non-debatable, unquestioned reason why Pittsburgh lost that game? The offensive line.

:cmad:

You got all of that...

...from 2 games...

...after Week 3?

Do I even need to say anything else?

I honestly want to say this was a season-altering win but Rivera has reverted back to his spineless, incompetent self before. Shula finally let Cam loose but will he let Cam be Cam after the Bye Week again, or will the game manager return?

This concerns me too. We get the game we needed for motivation and we head into a bye week. I think Rivera has learned he needs to be more aggressive with the football. I saw that today and I think he knows us fans are pissed.

I gotta say, Ginn has been a consistent deep threat for us so far, and he's starting to develop chemistry with Newton. We might have something here. However, it wouldn't hurt for us to talk to Chud and Lombardi regarding Josh Gordon. I'm thinking Jon Beason or a 4th round/6th round pick for him.

Ginn impressed me today. Especially that 4th quarter TD. I think our WR's are molding together nicely. Had a little scare there today with Smith going down. I'm also gonna say hold off on going after Josh Gordon. I really don't want to give up draft picks. Plus, I think the Patriots are gonna nab Gordon. Makes a lot of sense for them to go after him.

On that note, our front seven proved again why it should be feared. Eli didn't have time to throw at all. Our rookies (the UDFA ones) also played great today. Lester and White were very good in coverage.

We have a top 10 defense. I think that's going to help in the long run as long as they stay healthy. D-Will played another great game. The team is looking very good. Still need to work on not turning the ball over.

All I have to say is The Phins are sleepers this year, which I really had faith they would be. I predicted a 9-7 or 10-6 season this year, but I wouldn't be surprised with 11-5 now. I'm really anxious to see how we do against the saints next week.

Nah, I don't see The Browns helping out a rival.

Granted I would love to have all of our draft picks going into the draft for a change, but I don't know. After Smitty went down, I realized how how bad our receiving core could be without 89. Gordon has Julio Jones/AJ Green potential. I think he's worth the cost. Chud definitely is thinking of us.

And J-Stew and Barner are due back soon. Our rushing attack has been severely underrated but that's because our O-Line has been crap, and Chud (last year) was more interested in seeing Cam lead the team in rushing than our $80 million dollar backfield.

There's a difference between having a bad game, and playing downright awful.

Kaepernick has been the latter.

You're right that he was playing like straight up doodoo. With that said, give the man at least until Thanksgiving before you say the stuff you are saying. It's still only Week 3. 3-0 doesnt mean much. You just sound so salty about Alex Smith.

Dolphins schedule after Saints & Ravens:

Bye, Bills, @Patriots, Bengals, @Bucs, Chargers, Panthers, @Jets, @Steelers, Patriots, @Bills, Jets.

It's not that bad. @Colts & Falcons were two tough games, but they won those. The only scary games after @Saints would be Bengals & @Patriots . And they beat the Bengals last year in Cincy. Both teams have improved, so that will be good.

Every team that plays the Steelers this year has a second bye week. Miami should be fine.

I just find humor in the fact that the guy who got screwed out of his starting job is helping lead an inferior team to much better success than the guy who stole his job.

I think the "hate" from mobile quarterbacks is that they've never been able to sustain that high level of play. Vick comes into the league "OMG wow, look at him game changer!" and guess what happened, defenses started figuring him out, they hit him and his weaknesses became more apparent. This new batch of kids might work out but I'll take someone like Peyton Manning or dare I say it Mr. Ugg himself who have been consistently great without the need to run the option or take off running every other play.

My Raiders are going to kill it tonight and next week. Although I am not to happy about next week since I am a Skins fan as well but my Raiders are going to kill it.

You're that confident that Terrelle Pryor is going to outduel Peyton Manning?
