...I saw that crap earlier today. It's going to Tebow levels and that should concern any sane individual.

Long after Brett Favre dies. People will be singing & telling stories about the day. Brett Fave came back from the dead. Just so that he can play in the NFL. The world will never be safe from Brett Favre

I remember last year MJ's camp was hyping him up talking about he could still play in the NBA and average 20 points a game. Let old legends be old please.

It's getting ridiculous. On the bright side, at least this blatant favoritism is about Peyton Manning and not about Tebow or the New York Jets.

:o

Freeman is benched in Tampa. Mike Glennon will start against Arizona.

MJ probably could start in the NBA and average 20+ points per game. Basketball, like baseball, is more of a skill based sport. There is a hell of a lot less physicality than football or hockey. A 40 + year old man just cannot play football in the modern era. The physical toll is too much. On the other hand, a 50 year old man, as good as MJ, probably could still be an effective basketball player.

How awesome must that be for that high school football team to have Brett Favre as their coach?

He wasn't that great in college, I was always bewildered by his being chosen by Tampa.

I love it!

Funny meme, but there are very few QBs who could win regularly when the D is giving up 28pts a game. The Niners' problems are legion right now.

Th 49ers D isn't giving up that many points until Kaep can't sustain a drive, and the offensive ineptitude snowballs into multiple 3 and outs and turnovers.

Against the Seahawks and Colts both, the D was doing their job until the 4th quarter when the offensive incompetence finally catapulted. The problem isn't the defense.

Is it too early to say the Denver Broncos will go undefeated this year?

Yes, it is indeed to early to predict any team to go undefeated.

I don't think it's too early to predict that a team will go defeated, however. Come on, the Lions can't go down as the only team in history to have the dreaded 0-16 record.

My picks for this year are:

The Jaguars
The Suckaneers
The Steelers :(

Yeah, I'd say the Jaguars have a sincere shot of going winless.
