Well first off, the Cowboys and Jones are notorious for overpaying.

Secondly they were $100k under the cap. They owed Romo $16.5 million this year and he could have been a FA next year. So Romo didn't need the pictures of Jones, there really wasn't an alternative. No FA or Draft QBs. Viola.

Never gonna happen. The Bills have Kolb, Cardinals have Palmer and Chiefs have Smith. The Jaguars will draft Geno Smith. Like Duke said, too little, too late. Maybe he will get a shot as a backup, but starter? Nope.
