2013 CBM Film Super Villain Rumble

We've had four different superhero films this year and without great hero comes a super villain. So I decided to make a thread dedicated to one on one.battles.between the super villains of each of the main CBM films this year.

Now all four of these villains aren't fighting at the same time, I want the fights to be one on one. You can pair them up however you like, however the poll is going to be for who you think will be the overall victor after all is said and done. Be mindful of the fact that not everyone has seen Thor: The Dark World.

1. Aldrich Killian

2. General Zod

3. Silver Samurai

4. Malekith The Accursed


This is about who would win in a FIGHT not who was the better villain or best actor.

Hmm. Pretty weak year for villains. I'll go with Zod. His motivations were the best and realistic. Could really understand his motives, whether you agreed with them or not. Also, did the most destruction and caused the most chaos.

Got a "Zod" complex ! LOL (well maybe not LOL, but come on, it was
a bit funny).


Anyway, I think Zod could pretty much dismember Aldrich Killian (the
guy got taken out by Iron Man's secretary) and the Silver Samurai
would be in pieces, or possibly bent and twisted into a toothpick.

Now Malekith has the potential, with the Aether to take Zod out.
But given that Thor was able to stand up to Aether blasts, Zod could too.
(I created a whole thread related to the superman vs Thor thing, so don't get me started on who's stronger or more invulnerable).

Anyway, Malekith doesn't dig light, well Zod loves his heat vision. Apparently to melt stuff as fast as h-vision does in MOS, it must be
nearly as hot as the sun. And given that Zod has no reservations about
killing anyone who's not Kryptonian, without hesitation, he'd either splatter
Malekith with his super strength and speed, or incinerate him with a blast of heat vision - remember Thor's lightning burned Malekith, and Zod's h-vision is a lot hotter.

So battle-wise, everyone ends up kneeling before Zod !

(btw, if it was Faora, the fights would be even shorter, she's more badass than Zod !)

Faora was very badass, but do we honestly think she can beat Zod Heck no, he was a good deal stronger, more ruthless, and had better control over his abilities.

Malekith was hurt by Thor's lighting before getting the Aether, with it he'd probably be able to take Zod's heat vision. Also Malekith's powers could keep Zod at bay since they're so large in scale and long range. Not to mention Malekith is no slouch in the strength department as seen by going toe to toe with Thor with his hammer.

I've since changed my position, such that I'm still going with Zod, but only by a hair - as Aether empowered Malekith could probably destroy him, as the aether extinguishes light, the source of Zod's power.

Anyway, it would all come down to a decisive first strike, which is why I'm still going with Zod, ( super-speed, fighting skills/warrior training, ruthlessness and heat vision). But if Malekith let fly with the aether at full power, and landed the first shot, Zod would be screwed.

Killian vs Silver Samurai would be pretty cool, with both of their heat based slicing.

Okay, having seen the movie now. . . I actually think Malekith would win this, assuming its after he absorbed the Aether. He was largely no-selling the worst Thor could dish out, and was really only beaten through applied plot device tech. I can't see anyone here other than Zod standing up to the Aether blasts for more than a bit, nor being able to muscle through the Aether storm type stuff. He can try and range Malekith, but Malekith has his own ranged attacks, that he can use more reliably than Zod's heat vision, and Malekith has shown that he can parry energy attacks.

Tru dat ! A great villain is one you either sympathize with, and almost want
to win OR one you hate so much, you can't wait to see him die.
Aldrich Killian, was just.....lame. Somehow the ability to breathe fire
is much cooler in the comics, not so much on the big screen.

Yup, it would be satisfying to see Zod turn him into extremis splatter.
For ****'s sake, Tony Stark's secretary took him out ....LAME !!!!
