Meh nothing beyond the usual snubs (Psych for comedy series, James Roday for Best Comedy actor, Nick Offerman for Supporting Comedy Actor, Dule Hill for Supporting Comedy Actor)

Im a bit surprised of all the Modern Family guys they left off Eric Stonestreet also I wouldve nominated Timothy Simons (Jonah) from Veep

Yay for Kerry Washington, all the VEEP noms, and Emilia Clarke!

Oh totally :woot:

As for embracing new shows, for shame that there's no love for Hannibal or Tatiana Maslany but otherwise it's alright.

How the heck did Parks not get a nom when its the best comedy on the air?

Hahahaha nothing for Hannibal or Arrested Development? Give me a break...

I'm happy to see Emilia Clarke and Peter Dinklage nominated for Game of Thrones, but it should really be Michelle Fairley and Nikolaj Coster Waldau in their places.

Wow. You really just hit it on the head here. I agree with everything you just said.

I definitely agree with Fairley over Clarke.

This too, especially for NCW.

P&R is actually funny and makes people laugh. Apparently, that's not really important in the comedy category anymore.

I just dont see how Psych has NEVER been nominated for Acting

Roday and Hill bring it every single episode. NEver slacking, never phoning it in.

I don't think USA has had an Emmy nominee since Monk went off the air.

I dont think so either. Which I think is a mistake because there are some good shows that deserve nominations

Yeah, Suits should definitely get some love. POLITICAL ANIMALS gets nominations but not Suits? Please. USA's less than serious approach to drama makes the snobbish Academy uncomfortable and it shows.

Other than that, no major surprises. I do have to wonder how The Americans was so thoroughly snubbed. I think it should easily be on there ahead of Downtown Abbey, Game of Thrones and Homeland.

Good to see Louie get all of those nominations.

I always have to laugh at all the people crying, "Snub! Snub!". Have you ever considered that maybe your favorite show or actor just doesn't warrant an award nomination?

No, as posters here our opinions are fact. We have Hype memberships, for heaven's sake, they don't just give those out to anybody. :cmad:

I like Clarke just fine, but that was Fairley's nomination.

The Big Bang Theory is nominated for best comedy. Even some of the shows nominated don't warrant nominations. :o

Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program.

Why is that a thing?

Jeff Probst usually gets that I thought.
