I haven't done anything really all that worthwhile this year, so I don't think I deserve a nomination. I'm just working on outside projects and I might have my own cartoon coming up

im really surprised how low the turnout was this year to be honest. i thought there'd be a lot more interaction and participation

Yes, it's a bit disappointing. I loved all the buzz surrounding it last year. Sure, I was nominated which helped, but there was a lot more action last year

A number of members active during the 2014 event got banned last year, that killed a lot of buzz.

I know it's a bit late but I don't suppose I could have my name removed? I haven't actually finished my book yet. After its out for people to read then I have no problem if it's liked but until then I don't have anything to show for it.

It depends which kind of writer you are: the self-obsessed, self-hating neurotic who thinks everyone else's work is better, or the self-obsessed, self-promoting egomaniac who believes it would be a crime if the world was deprived of his unique voice.
