    You can walk across coals without getting burned, it has to do with sweat and the relatively low heat of coals and how fast you walk.

    It's pretty easy to do it wrong and hurt yourself, though.

    Well, you know, walking on hot coals isn't necessarily a new concept or anything. This seems more like an isolated fail than anything else.

    Indeed. The participants would have been better off understanding the physics of the phenomenon rather than the psychology of "motivation." :cwink:
