21 year old auctioning off Bonds ball

I would've blown it up, just to piss off every one

I think it's smart to auction it off now, since the story is probably as hot as it ever will be. I really feel like baseball is dropping. Only about 1.2 million viewers watched Bonds hit that historic homerun, while around 7 million viewers watched a preseaon Cowboys game.

I saw a story where the IRS is gonna make sure they get their share of it, lol.

You talk as if the government monitors all our online transactions....but that's crazy! Hahahaha......

I would laugh if it went for like $100 :D haha

Which ball? the left or right?

C'mon! You knew someone would come in and say it! :o

it won't sell as much as the last home run ball that bonds hits for the season.I'm happy that he's telling the media " I can't afford the taxes" cause it'll just make the IRS look bad. Hitting the lottery has a dark side.

i bet todd mcfarlane ends up buying it.

You can't really compare baseball and football in terms of television viewers/ratings though. Baseball is on just about every day and Bonds was stuck at just under the record for like two-three weeks, only real SF and Bonds fans are gonna be watching every day. Football on the other hand is one game a week, it's much more of an event. There's a much different mentallity to me between watching baseball and football, it's 162 games over 6 months with a game just about every day vs. 16 games over 4 months, only on Sundays, it's a much easier and event based viewing schedule for football.
