25 Most Hated Teams. EVER.

Haha that Heat thing is a freaking joke.

They'll be the bandwagon team 4 months from now.

'Tis.

I understand the hate they're going to get/already have, but REALLY? One of the 25 most hated teams EVER without playing a single game? I wonder if SI brought that up to Wade, Bosh, and James when shooting last weeks cover.

The article doesn't seem to be trashing the team as much as is trashing the band wagoners already jumping on, acting as if Bosh, Wade, and James are some kind of saiints for taking 110 million dollar contracts instead of 120.

Can't think of a team that shoulda been on there instead.

A lotta people hate the heat right now. And it's likely to be that way even when the season starts. But they will still fill up stadiums. Cuz people love to hate far more than they love to love.

The Celtic and Laker teams from the 80's come to mind - both are notably absent. You're telling me a team that has been together for 3 weeks conjures a hell of a lot more hate than those dynasty teams who were winning multiple titles?

Yeah. Haters gonna hate. Throw in Lebron's antics and the entire state of Ohio's misplaced feelings of betrayal and you got quite a steaming pot of haterade a brewing.

That's just because the hates fresh. Hate away though, America. Hate away.

It all comes down to personality. Magic was never an ass. Abdul Jabaar was never an ass. Bird was never an ass. LeBron is. LeBron is quite possibly the most arrogant and obnoxious man to ever grace the NBA (and that is saying something). And the bandwagon fans who followed him to Cleveland are only going to get more obnoxious with him on the same team as Wade and Bosh.

Maybe not, but up until the whole "Decision" mess, LeBron wasn't either was he? Now, I can understand why people would dislike for making a spectacle of his free agency, but up until the last few weeks he's done just about everything right. He was the NBA's golden boy.

Yeah, but then he did what he did, and now everybody hates his gutz. :o

Come on, this is the guy who NAMED HIMSELF "The King." LeBron has always been fairly arrogant. People were just willing to overlook it due to the fact that he was kind of the champion of the underdog, playing for a low level team and a city that hasn't had success in countless years, which also happened to be his home town. Now he's sold out, so to speak. He's not an underdog playing for his hometown. He's just a guy with a massive ego stacking the odds in his favor and expecting us to praise him for taking a 110 million dollar contract instead of 120.

Actually his name means King. LeBron. So, technically his momma named him King. :o

He still shouldn't have gone around flaunting himself as "King James."

Maybe not. Self-given nicknames are as *****ey as it gets.

Ain't that right, Black Mamba?

But that's his name. King James. When you say Lebron James you're saying King James. :p It's a marketing thing, not necessarily an ego thing.

I always thought the whole Black Mamba thing was kinda silly. Wasn't that the name of the Bride's character in the Kill Bill Movies? So Kobe is a blond chick with a Hitari Honzo sword?

It is bull **** that the Kobe Lakers aren't on that list. They've run the NBA for the past ten years with basically no redeeming qualities. Kobe's forcing out of Shaq was disgusting. Kobe's Lakers should definitely be on there.

Matthew means "Gift From God," I'm not going to start going around telling people that I'm God's gift to the world.

Yeah, but you gotta put on the Soccer teams, cuz you don't wanna alienate the 12 soccer fans in the U.S.

If you had talents that could get you a few million dollars you would.

Why not? That's what I do...

But he has been touted as such since just being a kid in high school. There were great expectations on him before he even stepped foot on an NBA court. And all he did was exceed expectations and become one of the biggest stars in the NBA. The media created this so called monster. And Cleveland treated him like God. What do we expect out of him.

At the very least the Lakers are more hateable than this Heat team...
