God, what a show.

still priceless to this day... a magical chemistry that those four had...

My favorite episode is "The Marine Biologist". That whole episode was pure gold.

Still one of my favorite shows of all time, I can always watch episodes and still find them hilarious. I remember buying and collecting all the DVD sets when they came out. They've been having a marathon of the show the past few days here on TBS. Just a classic.

It's kind of sad that the art of television comedy has both evolved and devolved since Seinfeld.

I mean, because of Seinfeld, we've gotten shows like Arrested Development, Community, 30 Rock, and of course, Curb Your Enthusiasm..... but then, the highest rated comedy on TV now is The Big Bang Theory.

Funny to realize this show first aired 25 years ago, and then to think that it almost was cancelled very early.

I like the episodes that parodied the shows creation, from season 2 or so.

Great show, easily one of the greatest TV shows of all time. I have all the seasons on DVD and there's not really a boring episode in the bunch.

My family considers Kramer the funniest character, but personally I think its George.

Yeah it's interesting to see the influence it had. I also have the famous Kramer portrait hanging in my room in a frame like this.

"Am I crazy, or is that a lot of gum?"

"That's a lot of gum!"

:lmao: I still remember that when it was first on, laughed my ass off rememberin' about it even after the episode ended...

Two great episodes haha. The one with the gum I love when Kramer eats the old hot dog at the movie theater to prove that Lloyd isn't crazy. :funny:

Frank is one of the funniest on the show. He kills me.

It's also crazy to think about how many actors and actresses guest starred on Seinfeld. I mean here is just one. But there's seriously soooooo many.

Damn near half of Breaking Bad's main cast guest starred on the series at some point. :funny:

The problems that most of those shows have are a combination of poor marketing by the network, they're too niche-y for the average viewers, have some unlikeable/quirky characters viewers can't get behind, and very hit-or-miss with their comedic deliveries.

Indeed. Anna and Bob were.

Very true.

Btw here's a nice article on some of the guest stars.

Words can not express how much I love this show.
A truly unique show and In my Honest to God opinion, the best damn sitcom ever made. To this day I still re-watch Seinfeld and it never gets old.
It's true genius is that it's so re-watchable. One can watch Friends or everybody loves Raymond or whatever but after the second time it loses it's magic. Seinfeld is just all over the place and can discuss the most mundane aspects of daily life and somehow manage to make it funny, and therein lies it's true magic. This is something I've not seen in other sitcoms to this degree and what sets Seinfeld apart. Nothing but sheer brilliance.

And also, what a cast, what a superb cast.
This is the show that brought us the single greatest character ever brought to television, George Costanza, played to perfection by Jason Alexander.

How I was they had made a season 10.

alla that...

Best show of all time, IMO

I agree with you, Matt. What I loved so much about the show, is when one characters actions effected another. The way some of the stories connected in the end were done so well.
