That's right. The network that has given us such classics as My Super Sweet 16, Pimp My Ride and Jersey Shore just recently turned the big 3-0, and I think that is something to be celebrated. :awesome:

In all seriousness, I'm glad they're bringing back Beavis and Butt-head. Since they will undoubtedly continue with reality tv, I wish they would make the contestants actually do something or compete, instead of tell them "Hey... if all you do is drink, party and fight with eachother... that's okay. We'll still put you on TV." Bring back Road Rules. :o

From what I have seen Beavis and Butthead now mock reality television instead of music videos since MTV no longer has music videos.

No, they're still going to bust on music artists. I've heard Lady Gaga will be one of their first victims.

The preview clip I saw was of Jersey Shore but nothing says it can't be a mix of them I suppose.

It's funny how VH-1 Classic had to be the station to celebrate MTV's 30th because I guess MTV was too busy showing crap like Jersey Shore and 16 & Pregnant to be bothered.

To me, MTV died a very very very long time ago.

It was fun seeing the first hour of MTV again. But seriously, they had an actual 15 minute shuttle countdown to start. Really?

They played stock footage for the countdown as well.

I might watch MTV again for Beavis and Butthead but I could see myself getting bored with it.

MTV 30 years breaks down like this for me, 15 years good 15 years ****.
