I think by the end of next weekend 300 will rise back to number 1. TMNT only made 4 million more than 300.

No.

"Blades of Glory" opens, and Will Ferrell is a huge box-office draw... this movie's gonna be No. 1 without a doubt.

'Blades of Glory' and 'Meet the Robinsons' both open this weekend.

So no.

Ferrell has a loyal fan base, but c'mon, he is no "box office draw". Stranger than Fiction wasn't exactly a blockbuster, and the guys got like 10 stinkers on his resume. No different than the people who thought Wahlberg's Shooter would have a draw because of his Oscar nod.

I have no doubt 300 will not be #1 again till it's released on DVD, but I think it will be in the top 5 for at least another week.

That's because Stranger than Fiction was a drama for the most part, and the audience wasn't used to Ferrell acting in that kind of role.

Talladega Nights had a huge opening, and is his most successful movie, which is a COMEDY.

Blades of Glory will be No. 1, TMNT No. 2, Robinsons #3, 300 #4.

300 is back on top!

300 made $1,818,247 on monday!
TMNT came in secont with $1,428,373.

Talladega Nights made $148.2 million, Anchorman made $85.3 million, and Elf made $173.4 million. Old School generated $75.6 million, but that was with the help of Luke Wilson and Vince Vaughn.

And while Stranger than Fiction, Kicking and Screaming and Bewitched weren't box office smashes, they had good opening weekends. On second thought, scratch off the latter movie on that note. Bewitched completely bombed.

Talladega Nights was simply put a Nascar product. A redneck magnet as gleaming and attractive to a red state/blue coller shlub as the new Rambo film will be. Of course it was a success!

Kicking and Sceaming, and especially Elf were more family flicks, then you got the Boops, Beers, and Pratfall loving fans who liken Jack Black to a comedy god. The guy has a very calculated careeer. I doubt you would see him take a risk.

There is no way that 300 will be place 4rth this weekend. I say number 2 as the lowest spot it will have during this weekend. You keep forgetting alot of these young punks are buying tmnt tickets to go see 300...300 is kickin every movies ass put out in march

TMNT probably didnt do that well considering some of the money came from Shooter, 300 and THHE2.

300 will be back to number 1 again....as it stands 300 has been leading TMNT all week long. Todays numbers 300..1,707,320..TMNT ....1,294,282. The month of april looks pretty weak, I think the only movies I might check out are "grindhouse", and "NEXT"

So then TMNT would make more than 300. Ferrell has his comedy and Disney has their computer animated movie. 300 will be either 3rd or 4th, TMNT and 300 will be really close in those positions.

I say meet the robinson might do some damage...farell and company I am not to sure on. I still say second place this weekend as far as worst position goes.

Just quoting for Sunday.

Both new movies will be over $20 million, and its too late to "include new footage/alternate ending" to boost the box office for 300.

Give that a read. Plus some common sense on a animated Disney movie, a Will Ferrell sports comedy opening this weekend and the fact that 300 is under 3000 theatres this week and was under $20 million last week.

Why you gotta bust balls Darth Elektra...

...Why you gotta bust balls...

Eh, it's had an unexspectantly awesome run so far, it will definatly surpass Gladiator's B.O. before it leaves theaters.

Man I wish I could find out the BOX OFFICE numbers from yesterday. The way it loooks, "blades of glory" "meet the robinson" are not doing so well. I am about to use my paycheck to get 300's number up...OH YEAHHHH!!!!

1. Blades of Glory, $12.065 million
2. Meet the Robinsons, $7.630 million
3. 300, $3.380 million

Looks like the two new movies are doing just fine.

And that should also put to rest the thought that 300 would be number one again.
