5 Dallas Officers Killed at Protest Over Shootings by Police

The sick thing is the shooters probably thinks they were doing the right and good thing rather than being just as bad as the cops he was trying to fight against by firing at random innocent cops.

There's still one shooter holed up in a parking garage exchanging fire with police. News reports claim he's saying they've planted bombs around, but no proof of that being true.

So I wonder how the NRA/Trump will spin this into how more good-guy guns would have helped this situation?

Oh wait the bystanders were black? Heck no.

The footage of one of the gunmen shooting a cop was chilling. It was like something out of a movie.

Theyre both hiding behind two pillars when the gunman rushes out from his and fires to the left of the pillar where the cop is hiding and when the cop turns to the direction of the gunfire, the killer slips right behind the cop and shoots him down.

These arent some amateurs. These guys are trained.

Sounds like the final suspect has been downed and police are using robot to check for explosives.

Same thought I had after watching it. Plus, the triangulated fire to start the whole thing is not something amateurs do either.

What chilled me just as bad was the early FOX News video, where the camera man is filing and sees two cops on the ground. They move away for a moment and come back and the anchor is just like "Those may be dead people. We aren't showing dead officers on this network" and cut off the feed.

You lot over there never cease to amaze me.

Them doing that stuff doesn't point to them being professional soldiers.

These tactics can be found online, in films, and hell, even in some games. And anyone can practice or utilize them in paintball competitions, airsoft BB fights, or practice them at home.

What to watch for the usual suspect rogue conspiracy theorists claiming that Dallas was staged and/or false flag with "crisis actors."

YouTube is already delivering on that. So terribly foolish...

The attack took place just 3 blocks from TX School Book Depository, site of most infamous sniper attack ever.

Very terrible and tragic. It will be unfortunate that, just like all police getting lumped in with the bad ones, the peaceful protestors will get blamed for this.

First it's the police killing black men, and now it's police being gunned down. Has this country gone mad or something? :csad:

So it begins.

Honestly man, I fell like we never left the 50s-60s era.

As horrendous as this situation is, I feel like enough focus hasn't been put on the fact that Mark Hughes, the innocent civilian who was mistakenly labelled a suspect, had a constructive engagement with a police officer while an active shooting was going on within a 1 mile radius and he had a firearm on him.

This is terrible, just terrible. Lets hope the morons that got taken into custody get the death penalty quickly. There's no excuse or justification for taking a lives like that.

Let's rather hope for regulatory and social reform in regard to guns, a couple of extremists getting the death penalty means the wheels on the bus just keep going round and round.

This really does put the NRA and its supporters in a bind, doesn't it? These cops were killed for no other reason than being cops. But the NRA wants everyone to have rights to guns, which if they didn't, the killers may not have had guns. Or they would have been illegally obtained.

Still too early to know who they were/what their training was and where they got their guns but now the "war on cops" is heating up.
