5th Grade Boys Plan to Kill Classmates Thwarted

..........what the ***** happened to playing with Lego?

Stupid kids. Back in my day, we would pretend to be the X-Men and kill off jerks IN CHARACTER to blow off steam. Usually by the next day, all would be forgiven and characters would be reset.

The younger boy had been in "a short dating relationship" with the girl, but he told authorities that "she's rude and always made fun of me and my friends," court papers said.

The older boy had been friends with the girl for several months, but he wanted to kill her because she picked on and annoyed him, court papers said.
First of all, these boys are 10 and 11 what do they know about relationships? And if you're going to try and kill one girl because she made fun of you, then you're just soft and probably deserved it.

More like "bat***t f***ing insane".

I contribute all this violence to the type of exposure kids have now a-days. The media always highlights these school shootings/killings/bombings....its on 24/7.....

When I was younger it NEVER even crossed my mind to murder.......no matter how bad someone picked on me, made fun of me...I may of wanted to punch them but I NEVER had any internal notions of actually killing someone.

I remember when I was in the 5th grade; I was a Star Wars fan, I loved playing with Lego, and I still believed in Santa Claus. Now 5th graders have relationships and plan to murder others? What the ****?

I'm blaming the parents...I mean, seriously...how can you NOT notice your kid is going this direction?? It's not like they just suddenly thought it up spur of the moment...there are alway...ALWAYS massive warning signs for this kind of thing.

Violent crime has actually decreased overall since the mid 90s though. There's a pretty huge difference between being desensitized to our sterile media violence and being desensitize towards actual people.

Kids these needs to go play in the woods with their slingshots or something. Go break things and get into minor trouble. I think kids need an outlet to be destructive. When I was a kid, I would go through junkyard scraps and try the make toys out of them. Kids these days are so pent up.

The clear solution is to give all the other 10 year olds guns too.

I REALLY hope guns are banned in the US. Nuff said.

When I was in 5th grade. The only plot I had was to figure out who would be Brolly when me and my friends played DBZ.

Which would always be me.

Still, this is terrible. Just because the other girl was annoying? Terrible.

I'm sure all the criminals would hand their weapons in as soon as the law gets passed. Why did no one think of that before?!

Maybe the parents should try doing their job...being parents...

I played cops and robbers , but never thought of it that way. My biggest thing was drawing violent pictures. I used to draw Midieval battles and stuff you would see in Contra.

No they need to be locked up for life or in the very least locked away for a long time and then put on probation/monitoring. These kids have serious issues and the one that told on them now has to live with that fear of 'what if they come for me' for the rest of their life. If they are murdering psychos as kids then they will be murdering psychos when they are adults. I have no mercy for kids like this.

When I was a little kid in 5th grade (in 1977), the biggest plan I could come up with (that outshaded absolutely everytning else at the time), was to visit the cinema to watch a certain film.

Every media was shouting out loud about this American spectacular sci-fi space adventure movie. It's title was Star Wars. Afterwards I could talk about this movie event even with the "rudest girls" in my class. I can't even imagine what went wrong over the last ~35 years. Apart from the media overflow of course.

Criminals will access weapons and use weapons. That doesn't mean it should necessarily be so easy or that their shouldn't be a charge associated with it.
