WB doesn't have their big Joker reveal this time so look for them to play of the cultural understanding of Catwoman.

Though keeping her out of costume is a curious move indeed.

I don't think the chant means...the fire rises. I think it's just "He rises."

I still don't understand Bane's obsession with fire. Maybe he considers himself and his men to be "the fire that burnt rome to the ground" Alluded to by Ra's al ghul, when civilizations become too corrupt they destroy the city with fire..fear..money etc.

Bane saying "the fire rises" is probably the start of his mission to finish Ra's plan, to burn gotham (figuratively) to the ground in order to save it from the chaos that seems to be going down....burn it to "ash" or so he says.

That's just my take.

Absolutely fitting for the conclusion (EPIC conclusion, I should say), and heavily indicated through the succession of events that have transpired in conjunction with what can clearly be seen in the prologue and trailer. I LOVE it.

Selina's lines lend credit to my belief that this will be about Bruce Wayne Rising and doing the right thing as Wayne.

No one says anything bad about Batman the entire time but she gives him a scathing talk about having so much while others have so little.

You're right about that. They probably will "kill" the super bowl crowd with that. However it just sounds like humans running through explosions and not that people don't actually bash that sort of thing around these parts but at this point unless it's filmed in some extraordinary way, I just can't see it winning me over anyways.

Look forward to seeing it for myself though on the big screen.

These comic book films just keep holding their cards close to their chest and top each other with marketing material ever month or so. I assume next up is the second wave of Spidey/Avengers. What's funny is that in between other films release stuff and it's quietly forgotten.(MIB3/JOE...)

It's pretty cool because, the whole thing is done with almost no sound, it's just the visual of a man running towards the screen with the ground collapsing behind him, you can't even hear the destruction. It's certainly not the big michael bay eye rape people seem to criticize it for. I really want to see Bane use this instrument of destruction in the middle of Gotham city, it really shows you how much power he has.

Oh yeah MIB and JOE will hit completely different cords with people though.

It was fine, I could barely hear what anyone was saying let alone Bane. (because of the quality) but Bane's line was audible (and it certainly was the best line ever)

The more i watch it, the more im led to believe that Tom Hardy has done something really special here, and i cant wait to see it in all its glory, come July.

After watching the prologue I thought, wow, Nolan is really taking thins seriously this time. Then I see that stupid football player scene and it seems like Nolan is giving us another Ferry Boat type scene again. Does not look good.
