That imitation sounds like the voice effect they used on the Hardy's original, unprocessed Bane voice made it distorted. Not a problem with the voice Hardy used, per se (which is a whole other issue with some). Sounds like they need to dial back the effect.

Well, there was an interview where Oldman was describing the situation his character is in at the start of TDKR. He mentioned the "Harvey Dent Act", a plot detail we hadn't heard of before. Then someone after the press screening asked Nolan what the Harvey Dent act is, stating that Oldman mentioned it, and Nolan said "I hadn't heard that." Apparently Caine got moaned at by Nolan over the phone simply for stating he was filming the movie, so we're all imagining how mad he would be at Oldman right now.

A movie is not reality. Just because it would be "realistic" for someone to be unintelligible close to a roaring plane engine doesn't mean it's okay for a main character's dialogue to be unintelligible to the audience during a crucial scene in a movie.

haha too f'ing true. You know what was funny about the poster, and what seems to happen with other reveals, is the immediate reaction for about 30 -50 posts is "Oh dear gawd", holy **** thats awesome, badass, etc etc etc"...Then one person comes along and complains about...rain. or snow. or sleet. And suddenly the very people whos immediate reaction was pure excitement start recanting and totally nitpicking the everloving hell out of it. I think it actually speaks more to human nature than anything else. Mob mentality and so forth.

It is entirely the sound mix that is the issue with his voice, his voice is fine but it's not loud, he doesn't yell like the CIA guy does. He speaks calmly and with purpose. The background sounds and score are what make him hard to understand, not the voice its self.

how was the music? that was one of the things I loved about TDK prologue. I had chills the entire time cuz of the score in the background.
