6 Raw Foodists Look Decades Younger

We are not talking about killing for sport. That's a completely different topic. Our discussion is killing to eat. I have your back on most of your arguments man, but this one I am going to have to disagree with you on.

I don't kill for sport or to satisfy a guilty pleasure. I don't feel guilty about eating meat, I eat meat for a well balanced diet. I love vegetables too (mmmm roasted carrots and parsnips). But i'm not going to live my life just eating vegetables.

A plant is also a living being. Who says a carrot isn't in pain when you're chopping it up or peeling it's skin?

There are some who support plant rights. In Switzerland, picking a flower is called "decapitation" and in New Zealand a river is considered a person by the law.

I read an article a while ago about tomatoes feeling pain.

Nor should anyone live their life just eating meat. But to argue one side or the other as the "pure way of life" is ridiculous. Clearly we agree that eating a balanced diet of meat and vegetables is the best way to go. But we get the extremists (big surprise here) that argue eating all of one or the other is the best way to go.

No prob. As I said in my previous post, I have accepted the studies that show there is no reason for humans to eat meat to survive. That's why I won't support any slaughter farm and the meat industry any more.

We can also eat nothing but meat and survive but just like vegans we'll have to alter the way we eat to do so. Those pesky Inuits and their mostly meat diet are convienently left out of these debates.

I don't consider eating meat a guilty pleasure, as I feel no guilt about it whatsoever.

Sure you might survive by eating solely meat. I just would prefer veggies and fruit over meat since I can make a choice and don't live in Antarctica where no fruit grow. Inuits have no choice man.

They could move to where plants grow if they felt like it.

This reminds me of

Or ninja sharks. I've found a few of those before. Better safe than sorry.

Ninja sharks? I have only found shark ninjas. I saw some straws sticking up from the water and thought "aha, breathing tubes...oldest ninja trick in the book". I drowned some of the tiny bastards and gave the rest of them to my dog.

This reminds me of a song:

I recommend everyone listen to it as I feel it is very important for us all to hear another side to the vegan issue.

Easy there kids, we don't need another version of what happened in the Jesus thread.

I hope not. Unless, a new poster by the name of "The Harvest'sRevenge" comes in here, starts causing all sorts of trouble, accusing vegans with some sort of gay propaganda - for some reason - gets banned, while getting others infractions, then this thread would lock so fast your socks would fly off..

But I tell you the truth. My socks are on pretty tight, so I am not intending them to fly off anytime soon while visiting this thread.. :BA

He's not here, and unable to defend himself. Let's forget about it:ninja:

Was he an old member here? Never heard of him before. Is his ban permanent?

"today sir, we have a lovely grass fed vegan dish, he was extra *****ey to his non vegan friends and died choking on a kale leaf"

"hmm that does sound tasty, I think I'll have that"
