But the main thing is, Japan shouldn't have bombed us in the first place.

That's not what's up for debate, that fact isn't a "do whatever the **** you want" card.

Then why did Japan do it then? They used their "Do whatever the f*** you want" card on us.

Goddamn not even a page and it already came down to this argument. Look whether you agree or not on the nukes being used it doesn't matter, it isn't the point of this thread, it isn't the topic so just drop it. That is what isn't up for debate in this thread. The topic is remembering and honoring those who lost their lives at Pearl Harbor. Anyone have any relatives that was present during the bombings?

Yeah, I'm gonna stop. I've already got a fever.

So a man breaks into your house and kills your family. Does that mean you get to kill his entire family too? I didn't think so. 95 percent of the people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki were innocent people.

Come on man...

I should have realized you'd come in here looking to argue with anyone, I apologize for triggering the Kritish signal.

So you're taking up GAH's debate?

Start a thread then.

BTW your avvy disturbs me.

Edit the post, immediately. You don't know what you're triggering.

I didn't even start the debate.

This thread isn't for debate. The thread starter said it was to honor the people killed at the attack of Pearl Harbor.

If you want to debate the bombing of Hiroshima....start a thread for that purpose.

eh too late I think I can take some pointless debate
(even though I really just don't want to :csad: )

My thoughts goes out to anybody who had any relative that died at Pearl Harbor :csad:

We had a ceremony here at the chapel yesterday, I wrote a story on the guest speaker -- a guy who was on the USS Tennessee. The turnout for the ceremony was dismal, not even a quarter of the chapel was filled. And it was mostly vets. Sad.

Their generation gave a lot more than ours ever will, and no one seems to care any more.

Let's never forget folks. And please, let's not cloud this thread with an endless debate.
