4. An excellent meal you once had at a restaurant.
That's not fair. Sometimes those meals are conversation-worthy.

Like this one time I went to a local deli and got a turkey sandwich on whole wheat. Let me tell you, the turkey was moist, but not sloppy "sitting on the counter all day" moist. It was just right. And the bread! Oh, I'd recommend that place just for the bread. The deli guy has this way of toasting it that gives it just the right amount for crunch without making it too hard and scraping the roof of your mouth. The tomatoes were like nothing I've ever tasted. I asked the deli guy his secret, and it turns out he boils the tomatoes for a few seconds, peels the skin, and gets rid of all the seeds. Magnificent cook, that guy. Best cold cuts in town.

I think this list only applies to people over 30. If you're under that age bracket, being boring a party simply means you ain't doing keg stands.

Are these topics you should or shouldn't discuss at parties?

I do NOT want anyone giving me movie spoilers at a party.

If my daughter's nap schedule changed, my wife and I would be at that party drinking heavily to cope with her new schedule.

So....

Yeah.

Too dry? Should I have done it in a Billy Crystal voice?

I still say nothing beats a nice MLT--mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe. They're so perky, I love that.

Goddamnit, until this moment I never really cared about getting enough posts to get an avatar. But now, I want everyone to look at my name and see that crazy person.
I've never seen Lost, but maybe I ought to.

No, don't. It will be the end for you...

Never talk about toilet seats at a party...I learnt the hard way...
