The only people I see appearing in the film are Dazzler and Polaris... I just feel like since First Class was released... these two are like the top candidates to make a debut appearance in a period X-Men film especially after Banshee and Havok debuted in First Class.

Not quintessentially an 80's character that one would think of but if there's to be a Beast love-interest type character that doesn't have a lot of baggage, how about a cameo appearance by a news reporter and we peek at her name and it's "Trish Tilby?"

By the way, 'Never ending story' movie was filmed in 1983.

Young Nightcrawler, if he does appear in this movie, could be a Thriller fan. The album came out in November 1982 (month after I was born ). This would be a nice costume for young Kurt.

They need to realize the relationships between the characters are very important in the comics and they need to focus on that in the movies too. Too bad they already screwed Alex/Scott relationship.

I would love to see a cameo of Dazzler in the film and a young Nightcrawler and baby Jubilee with the yellow coat trying to slide the pink glasses on her face in the mall.

Give me mature Rogue in not too distant future.

I don't know... At first, I thought about the ages of the characters in the previous movies. But I don't see why we can't have Rogue in the 80s if the 'timeline was reset.' She's such an amazing character that wasn't used properly throughout the film series IMO.

Since we already saw the horseman in the DOFP credits, I think they already have their characters picked out, I'm guessing one of the horseman gets defeated/killed to the point where he is replaced by Wolverine.

Did you watched DOFP, and who was with Bobby at the end in new 2023?

Also what Wolverine did in 1973, that would make poeple to make babies earlier this time?
Sorry, but don't listen Kinberg ideas. Without changes from Dougherty, Harris and Singer, DOFP wouldn't be so good.

I did see DOFP, and I saw Rogue at the end. But I'm saying, who cares? It's a movie and Rogue, who is arguably one of the best characters, has been mistreated in all of the film adaptations. And she's a key player among the 80s comics roster.

Of course people would care. If you put Rogue just for the sake of it and ignore things that were shown in the past....that would hurt just the continuity of this series even more. They might as well reboot the series and start from scratch.

^ lol. I'm not so sure about rogue. it seems to me they've explored the OT as much as they're willing to, but I do think they should find a way to bring Blink back. Fan Bing Bing rocked. Maybe she can time travel with Cable and/or Bishop??
