If both of these Punishers are starting a war agianst each other, who will win and come out on top. My opinion, I think Dohph.

A war against each other? Jane. Dolph's Punisher would jump thru the ceiling window (as much noise as possible) to be meet by a claymore mine blast to the face. :p

Yeah Jane's Punisher was more of a tactical Punisher where Dolph was the guns blazing Punisher. different times.

The 89 Punisher film would have been better if the action was more along the lines of Commando. One of the things I hated about that movie was when he dropped into the casino through the ceiling and took like 6 minutes to shoot at and destroy a bunch of slot machines, then walked out with a zero body count.

ha, that reminds me of the ol skool punisher arcade game, wasn't that like the first stage? you drop through the ceiling into a casino?

i think dolph's punisher might win too just because he'd already been the punisher for so long and killed however many people whereas jane's punisher is just starting out.

anyway, dolph would prolly kick jane's ass in real life. :woot:

isnt dolph like 65 years old now?

Hmmm... a cop vs. a FBI agent with military background.... thats a tough one.:woot:

You should have named the thread which sucks more?

yeah i was talkin bout them goin at it, no weapons. i was also picturing lundgren in his prime, around the time he played the punisher, rather than now. even now, he's only 51 i think, and lundgren actually studied martial arts, jane just learned it for a movie.

Dolph, because he had fcking cool boots in the '89 version.

yeah he did. Those things were massive. I also liked the skull headed knives. I'd still like to get one for my Punisher collection.

As much as I liked Jane's Punisher, I would have a hard time seeing him defeat Lundgren's Punisher in a one on one, mano a mano fight. As stated above somewhere, Jane's Punisher was much more of a tactical Castle, where Dolph appeared to be much more of a 'in your face' Castle, and one with perhaps more of a apathetic death wish towards himself as well.

Is there a "Who gives a f@#k" forum? That's where this topic is supposed to be posted.

If you don't care....then ignore the thread and do not post in it.

If he has really bad arthritus he might have a problem with that... among many other things...:woot:

.....so even if Dolph had arthritis, we are not talking about them simply standing toe to toe and duking it out (even though there is the better possibility that Dolph would still win this battle as he was a champion Martial Artist and Jane wasn't) ....we are talking about planning out an attack strategy and implimenting it (again, Dolph was a graduate of MIT,so planning and intelligence appears to be on his side)....so having arthritis might slow him down...but it wouldn't keep him from being able to set up an ambush with explosive or rigging an easy way to utilize a machinegun against his opponent.

I dont think Dolph really studied the character of The Punisher much, that film bombed and I can understand why.
