9/11 Truther Invades Super Bowl Postgame Conference

Yeah! Fight the power or something.

You get a few seconds on National TV and that's what you say? How did he even get that chance?

The sad truth is there are way too many in the U.S.A. that will believe this line of thinking and support this jackass. It may not be 2004 any more, but for some, 9/11 "Truth Telling" is their superhero fandom.

PS: If there are any "Truthers" here who plan on just replying with link after link to videos and articles to prove your point of view, please just don't. I have listened to the arguments, and they don't hold water for me in the least. Quite frankly, as someone who was in the city on that day, I actually find all that BS offensive. Very offensive.

Personally I blame Harry Potter.

In before this thread turns into a conspiracy thread and/or gets closed by the mods.

:o

Personally...there's a time and place for conspiracies, and that wasn't the time or place for it.

If people want to believe in these theories--and I believe in some, but as time goes on I...hardly think anymore about them, other things to worry about honestly--let em.

Another thing is, conspiracy theories and religion in a way go hand in hand. Maybe that is...bold of me to say or too blunt...just how I feel.

Conspiracy theories like "Trutherism" and the like are not harmless. Like thinking that Jewish people in Europe baked bread with the blood of Christian babies or that the Spanish Empire blew up The Maine, these ideas can and do bear terrible fruit. Sorry, but they should always be vigorously fought because in the end, nothing good can ever come from believing in something that is not so.

What I find strange about these conspiracy theories regarding things like 9/11 and the Holocaust is that the people who carried out the attack / atrocity... freely admit it happened.

There are actual conspiracy theories out there, but they don't usually involve the perpetrators saying "it was us".

Or in 9/11's case "it was us, and we're still doing stuff like it".

When I first read that I was completely confused because I read it as they blew up Maine. :p

I could...and will list two conspiracies...but they may not be...:whatever: bad things.

1. Bilderberg group is real. It was rumored and a conspiracy but it's actually real. Even has a official web site. Officially it's off the record meeting and what not etc. The conspiracy is nwo etc.

2. Georgia Guidestones. I don't like them. Tear it the **** down. It screams NWO. On the safe side, it's a group of rich people making something creepy for a prank or to put their thoughts and feelings out in the open forever. And technically there's nothing wrong with that I suppose...it just ya know...but hey it's been around longer than me and nothing has come to pass that it speaks of sooooo...

They bombed the hell out of the state with paella. There was white meat chicken, yellow rice and seafood everywhere. The bastards!! :word:

Now those things are interesting. But there are crazy people with money out there to build strange monuments in the middle of nowhere.

ETM, out of respect that you are always a nice guy around these parts, I am just not going to go into things. Feel how you want about these things, but if you look around the world and it's history you will find many of the worst things are/have been justified or have their origins in some conspiracy about some group or person that is used to rile up people and get them to take action that benefits one group over another.

In a way I am a hypocrite, cause I've said on here in past I would make weird things for reactions. If I was a director for example, I'd would love to make a serious movie about various conspiracies...then I'd make like a parody version. Like perhaps a Seth Rogan type of movie. :o hell, double the $$$.

You may be right. Could very well be.

I hope there isn't a member of the press stuffed in a closet somewhere dead.

:o hell, could you imagine the ultimate April Fool's joke?

Imagine going onto Yahoo or MSN home page on April 1st and the damn headline is NWO is real. Click on it, and it's the stable from wrestling and a April 1st joke.

:palps: imagine Yahoo pranking their e-mail users. They've been hacked twice in the past couple years...right...so...on April 1st imagine them sending out a e-mail alert or logging in to only find a ''You've been hacked by the New World Order....April Fools. :o the pissing and moaning that would ensure.

Oh....just endless fun thinking about the possibilities. I guess that would be too serious of a prank though....:o esp if the damn Gov't got in on a prank.

Even assuming 9/11 "Truth" was true, questions:

What would be the practical implications on anyone's day-to-day life? That they spend more time reading conspiracy articles and babbling to their friends about political corruption?

If this evidence failed to create some sort of citizen revolution in the past twelve years its been available to any internet user, then it never will. Move on. It is over.

I hear he used the pass some mild mannered reporter with glasses had. He had to rush off for some kind of emergency, left the pass behind, and the rest is history. :word:

I understand the shock left by seeing the attack happening right there, right where you were, but you there is no need to be offended by these folks, even if what they say doesn't hold to you

Why can't anyone talk about something like Monsanto? The 9/11 things (whether true or not) are kinda getting outdated.
