Ok....basically this is inspired by last night.

Ever sat and watched 2-3 films in a row at home...but then realised that the films you watched shouldn't be seen in the same viewing.

For me, I sat down with my girlfriend and watched Stanley Kubrick's The Shining and then straight after watched Pretty Woman

Bad combination if you ask me.

So what films have you watched together, that probably wasn't the best combination.

I dunno. I imagine a comedy and then watching a war movie isn't good.

I think watching Schindler's list and then The Producers probably isn't a good combination. :o

Batman Returns and then Toy Story 2.

Super dark movie with kid's movie is a bad combo.

I'd say the bad combo is a really good one first then a boring or stupid one next.
Say, Dawn of the Dead, then Alone In The Dark.

The other night I watched Pulp Fiction followed by The Love Bug. And another time Goodfellas followed by The Wizard Of Oz.

I'll watch anything in a row if it's good.

Okay... what about good combinations...

... Big Trouble In Little China followed by Peter Jackson's King Kong.

Porn & then Passion Of The Christ or any other religious film.
Horror movie & then religious film.

Any time you watch Pretty Woman is a bad combination.

That makes no sense....most of the great horror movies have religion in them...

Here's a bad combination: The Ten Commandments and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. You'll be watching for a week before you get to the Two Towers.

I once watched My Favorite Martian right after seeing The Sixth Sense fo the first time.

How about film combinations that aren't bad because the movies are different, but because they give you an overload of the same thing? The other night I watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show followed by Forbidden Zone. Needless to say I felt disconnected with reality for the rest of the night.

Requiem For A Dream,American History X,and Boys Don't Cry would be the worst triple-feature in history. :(

28 Days Later followed by a Family Guy marathon

Say Anything followed by Evil Dead

:yay:

Army of Darkness followed by Evil Dead

Evil Dead 2 followed by Evil Dead

Watching all three Matrix movies in a row really shows how bad the sequels are.

The other night TCM aired Grave Of The Fireflies back-to-back with The Iron Giant. If that isn't a bad combo,I don't know what is.

cold mountian, freedom land, and stir of echoes

none of which is a bad movie, they just really didn't go together

And don't even mention Lord of the Rings....
