A Blue Dot Shows Up On My Desktop

When I reboot & the Desktop loads a Blue dot appears. But say I open Firefox & a random window like My Computer or My Documents the Blue Dot goes away. But if I turn off my Computer or restart it the Blue Dot appears but it easily disappears & it will not show up again until I restart or turn on my Computer. It looks whiteish in the picture but on the Desktop it looks Blue

That is probably just a pixel showing. How old is your monitor?

I have observed this enough to know that it is not a pixel & my monitor is not even 10 months old

try Degaussing your screen

It's probably a dead pixel. Just one will show up real easily on a black screen but disappear or near-disappear with most other colors. Age of your monitor doesn't matter. I've bought new monitors that had a dead pixel right out of the box. It's a defect.
