I dunno...lately the Hype has just gone cuckoo. Maybe it's just me that noticed this now....maybe it's always been like this.

But some of the posters on these boards have mental problems. After the fiasco that was JAL earlier this week I have got less faith in the people on these boards.

I mean.....obviously....I admit not every poster tells the truth but there seems to be some f**ked up beings on these boards.

And some f**ked up bullies as well. Can't forget the ones that torment them but to be honest if you are gonna show weakness on a board full of people that like to take the mickey......then well they deserve it.

Do you really think thre boards have gone cuckoo lately....or have they always been like this?

It's just how it works online. For every few genuine, intelligent, interesting people, you get a barrage of *******s and airheads, obsessive fanboys and trolls, bullies and morons who can't even spell.

On more "on topic" forums, personalities don't clash quite as much, but on a board like this, which has a lot of spam and a lot of fairly forceful eccentrics, it's a huge clash in nearly every other thread.

Don't worry about it. Don't get your hopes up. Toss off a witty comment that hides biting malice. Post a funny picture.

Actually I'm not saying I hate it. I actually enjoy it. Controvesy is what I enjoy on this forum. It's one of the things that bores me about CS.

Everything is straight forward.

There is this tension on these boards and everyone is there to make the BIGGEST joke no matter how insulting they are to one another.

to be honest... reading JAL's outburst last week solidified my faith in SHH... it shows that no matter what... this place will always be funny.

and it's not really bullying... I mean how can someone be bullied online? There's a reason why the same people get taken more serious than others around here.... you get what you give.... end of story.

I gave him a talk...told him not to be such a prick about it and not to get so wound up.

Jal always freaks out no matter how much you tell him to calm down, or ban him.

I've told him so many times not to worry about it, but he always goes bat freaking psycho. I'm beginning to think he's hopeless...

Why was he put on probation?

He's naive as hell...doesn't understand jokes, takes himself too seriously, and believes almost everything he is told...so every now and then he freaks out, goes on a cursing rampage and attacks anyone who comes close to him whether they are trying to help him or not....after multiple times of telling him to calm down (without giving him probation) I had had enough and gave him a couple weeks off in the hope that it will help him to learn.


He will be back to same old stuff when he returns.
