Now give me a legacy sequel that adapts one of those stories and my interest would be much higher.

I'd be for that too. I gotta say, while Peter Billingsley obviously doesn't sound quite like Shepherd, his narration definitely felt like it was in the same ballpark.

I have to say, I didn't expect this film to be as heartwarming and emotionally satisfying. Hats off to Peter Billingsley for having a creative control and delivering a good sequel to the original. I watched it with my family yesterday and we all had an emotional experience that tugged on the heart strings. This will definitely be on my annual list for the holiday season every year with the original
