A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All

Watching this again on Christmas Eve. Kanye West wrote on his twitter, "who the **** is Stephen Colbert?"

One of the best Christmas specials I've ever seen. I can't not laugh whenever I watch Colbert, he's just so hilarious. I can't wait to get the DVD.

I thought it was great. My mom who watches the Report on occasion thought it was stupid because he kisses a bear. But that's why it was awesome.

Loved it. It had me from the start when the bear showed up.

This year is Colbert's year for the best Music, Comedy, or Variety Special at the Emmys. Last year he lost the category to Don Rickles, and the year before that...Tony Bennett...and we all remember how that bastard Barry Manilow screwed him. :cmad: But this year, with this special, is Colbert's year.

Liked how totally chessy he made the special. I will say my favorite part was the Kenny Rogers song and "drug bust"

I liked the whole thing. It really is the best Christmas special ever because it realizes how bad Christmas specials are. The opening song and plot was hilarious. And really all the songs were hilarious, except for Willie's which was just funny. But it made me semi-like Tobey Keith for five minutes which is an accomplishment in itself. I also really liked John Legend's song and Feist's cameo with "Bears are heartless killing machines" was great.

The best part however was of course the bear dancing with Stephen and them making out. I'll just add the last song that Elvis Costello sang with Colbert was somewhat genuine and I thought a nice touch.

Overall the only Christmas special that hasn't bored me to tears, so it is of course...THE BEST EVER.

Kind of off-topic, but I saw a group of, I dunno, probably about twelve year old kids looking at one of Stephen Colbert's books and commenting on how funny he was and I wanted to break their knees. Yeah, like twelve year old kids get what Colbert is talking about... b**** please.
