A Discovery of Witches is a British television series based on the All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness, named after the first book in the series, A Discovery of Witches. It is produced by Bad Wolf and Sky Productions, and stars Teresa Palmer, Matthew Goode, Edward Bluemel, Louise Brealey, Malin Buska, Aiysha Hart, Owen Teale, Alex Kingston, Valarie Pettiford. A Discovery of Witches premiered in the UK on Sky One on 14 September 2018, and is set to consist of eight episodes.

I'm at ep6.
Acting is fine and so far the mythology is interesting.

The history of witches, vampires and demons is very interesting as is this Book of life mystery, I even started reading the books because I want to know more about it. The romance is like a grown up version of Twilight. The leads are good, him in particular, and they have chemistry. The supporting cast in interesting, particularly the Scandinavian witch. The locations are stunning, I mean Oxford and Venice, and that 7 towers castle - all to die for.

I'm so in love with this series. Teresa & Matthew, boy their chemistry is so deep and romantic. Matthew's Matthew is so freakin' intense! Both act above & beyond better than those Twilight leads; in fact this series is infinitely superior to Twilight in every possible way. It's funny, Teresa and KStew do look somewhat alike, but Teresa is the better of the two. Agreed, the different take on the mythology is interesting and I'm intrigued with what that Ashmole 782 book says.

I'm only up to ep 3, this is a series that I want to binge watch but I can't, I have to wait for the next weekly ep .

The first episode finally premiered on AMC (and, apparently, BBC America). It's certainly a very good looking production.
