Here is a question to all dog lovers and others with knowledge of dogs. I was watching a commercial with a labrador licking a human's face. I know that the "A dog's mouth is cleaner than a human's" is false. However, I think I read somewhere that a dog's mouth is not really bad if it licks you, and also know that the germs in a dog's mouth doesn't really affect a human (like if a dog licks your face, you won't get a pimple because of it's saliva, etc.)
Back on topic, my father is watching the commercial with me. He asks me if I let dogs lick me in the face. I say "Yes." He thinks that dogs licking humans is nasty. I ask why, and he says "Well, I don't believe that dogs mouths are clean. They licks their stuff, and they lick all of these other things. If you put honey on some shyit, they'd eat it, and those shyit particles will be all on your face." (I was dying because that was so funny. ) Now, I would assume that a dog's mouth has certain things in it that fight off those types of germs, but since I don't now for sure, I'm asking you Hypesters.
Is it really true that the germs in a dog's mouth don't really affect humans to drastic degrees? If a dog eats a piece of shyit, does that necessarily mean that if it licks you, you have shyit all over our face?
