Now, I see peole here seem to believe The Batman is set in the same sort of universe as shows like Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond JL, and JLU etc. but that's wrong. The Batman seperates itself from those shows, obviously, by its radically different characters designs and voice cast. This sow isn't meant to be tied in anyway to the other shows. Kevin Conroy isn't this shows Batman and to be honest, I don't understand why Luthor and Superman are being voiced by Brown and Newbern respectively.

I think everyone knows that.

Most probably but it seemed like (from a few posts I had read) there was some confusion.

ok..good for you i already knew that, but, awesome

Most do understand that--the rest kinda need to be exterminated to clean the gene pool.

BM, I gotta say, Ben 10 is nowhere near the best American animated show on TV.

Off topic much? :whatever:

But yeah, it's currently my favorite running American action show. :ninja:

I'm sorry but not only haven't I seen anyone who believes this, but anyone who does is a friggin idiot.

Where? Here? If they are I'm with just about everyone else on it. They seriously must have missed something somewhere.

Exactly. The Batman is clearly set in the same universe as The Flintstones.

I think there is not one person who is aware of that. The posts I bet you were reading were probably complaints about how bad this show started off. But I think a major reason aside from disliking the designs is that people are comparing it to the Timmverse, which was so great.

Perhaps because they're good at it?

Isn't that anyone's reason for liking or disliking anything? In the end, if you're more than 10 years old, every evaluation is a comparison to what's gone before. I kept hearing people tell me that I couldn't compare The Batman to BTAS, that if I just wouldn't do that, I'd like it for what it was. Ridiculous. It should have been good on its merits, damn whatever happened before, not good as long as you ignored all the strides made before. If you ignore all the classic artists, then a ****ty watercolor of a sunset probably would seem OK. If you ignore John Lennon's version of Working Class Hero, Green Day's cover probably sounds alright. But no one does that. And it's silly to suggest such a thing. Art should evolve, not stagnate amid a clamor of voices demanding that we forget everything that's gone before.

God you're whiney, Aristotle.

Why are you even here? Do you think the WB hangs out in this forum and is waiting on you to convince them?

hey Xeno, posts like that are for f...ers who have nothing else to say but batter peoples opinions. So stop calling a fight.

I won't point out the irony.

You're probably too stupid to see it anyway.

Do you want to start a fight online like a little idiot that you are.

I do not wish to fight and this argument is pointless My first point was not to fight in the first place so I ask you Xeno, truce?

Then keep your mouth shut and don't jump in when I'm telling someone to stop spamming the forum with whiny ass posts.

'Cuz Aristotle's crying is getting old.
