I know Warner's is so ignorant they would never do this, and that there mind is on the movie division, but if this fanboy was in charge, I would license out The Green Arrow to HBO or Showtime, get a knowledable showrunner on board, possibly Kevin Smith who doesn't do much these days, and I would create a gritty, realistic, Green Arrow television series. On HBO or Showtime, you would enough freedom that Green Arrow stories could be told to there full potential and they could target the 17-34 demographic with glee. Green Arrow wouldn't need a massive budget, so that would not be a problem, and with the comic book frenzy of today and the fact that HBO and Showtime love there television, it would be a perfect match. And, television is an un-tapped resource in the battle against Marvel.

I feel the same way about Punisher on the Marvel side of things.

Idunno about Green Arrow. It could work.

I think someone like The Question or Hitman or Ressurection Man have better chances. The Question and R-Man seem like they could easily adapt to episodic storytelling (despite them all being serials in the comics already) Detective stuff and a new power (and death) each episode could work well as an immediate hook for viewers.

While Hitman seems to fall in line with the hardcore crime dramas that are on tv. (The Shield, Brotherhood, Dexter, Wire, etc)

if it's on Showtime or HBO, they would definitely show steamy scenes between Green Arrow and Black Canary.
