Iron Man A New Candidate to Score Iron Man?

It's looking pretty real, Ramin Djawadi's name is being thrown out to the trade mags as the Iron Man composer. Here is his agency bio.

I've not heard of him before, but apparently he's currently doing the music for Prison Break, and he's worked with Hans Zimmer and Klaus Badelt.

I loved his score work on Blade Trinity. (One of the few bright spots of that film)

Agreed, altohugh I think the RZA contributed the best parts in the Blade Trinity soundtrack than Ramin, I'm looking forward to this.

Ugh, mostly anyone who's worked under Hans Zimmer isn't be good news in terms of superhero movie scoring. Unless Djawadi did an excellent demo of the IM score for Favreau when he asked to come on, I have a feeling it's going to be a redux of Batman Begins with a bit of Transformers thrown in.

There are other more capable and experienced composers other than Djawadi who can provide a good superhero score (it's a shame Debney is not on the project anymore because I thought he'd be perfect, considering he did Favreau's other films). If Marvel insisted on using former RC personnel, why didn't they ask John Powell or Harry Gregson-Williams first?

Transformers? Impossible, it was already a Zimmer/ Batman Begins/ Terminator rip-off. Plus, if you don't give promising young artists a chance, how will they grow to become experienced?
