Halloween Havoc was one of the weakest shows this year, not terrible, just a bit like a n extended episode of the TV show.
The TLS match was a mess, a ladder match where you don't have to climb the ladder to get the belt? by the end it was impossible to define who was face and who was heel, D'Angelo gets lots of outside help that Vic Joseph calls like it's a face thing, and then Oba Femi threateningly stalks Rizzo around the ring....even the spinebuster finish through table was awkwardly done.
The Ambulance match was fine, it was the next step in building Ridge Holland as a monster, and he looks set for a mini feud with Bubba Ray before going after Trick and the NXT title that he successfully defended in a serviceable main event.
Kelani Jordan did her best Ricky Steamboat in a gauntlet match with Fatal Influence, the heels have never really gotten over and Fallon Henley couldn't have looked much weaker in her North American title win before getting demolished by Zaria.
The standout match by far was the tag team match with Roxanne & Cora Jade vs Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer, I thought Cora kept up pretty well given how long she's been out, but Roxanne was on fire against both Giulia and Stephanie, she needs to wrestle both in more singles matches before going to the main roster. I'm hoping the fact Stephanie pinned her means they'll face off for the title on the episode of NXT at the ECW arena. I was surprised to see Zaria appear at the end of this match, the reaction from all 4 women to her was great.
