Watched Raw now. Why didn't they just have Ivy Nile cost Lyra the match? It gives your newly crowned champion with a new belt an out, and furthers Ivy calling her shot at Lyra during the Rumble.

IMHO it is counter-intuitive to have new champion Lyra Valkyria lose to Bayley in her first match since winning the title only to try and set up a match between Nile and Valkyria. I hope this isn't going to be symbolic of Valkyria's title run.

She lost anyway. Though I suppose a roll up is fine. I would have preferred her being robbed of her potential victory and that belt needs a story. Imo that would have been the better wayto go. We'll just have to disagree on that one

Since winning the belt she wasn't on tv, then a video, then the Rumble for a chance at another belt. Then a chamber qualifier for another chance at another belt, and hers has yet to be defended. I'd say her run is already off to a poor start, and I'm a Lyra fan.

They didn't mention his name likely because the WWE hasn't trademarked his name yet. I read that any WWE/NXT superstar who has a known name in the Indies before the WWE will have their names trademarked by WWE for as long as they are in WWE and when they leave, the trademarks go back to them. When Ricochet left for AEW, the WWE gave him back the name Ricochet for him to use in AEW.

I guess it's OK since it was for a chamber slot anyway, but I wouldn't have had her job in her first match since winning the belt. You have to build your champions up.

Yes we agree on that. I probably wouldn't have had her in the qualifier. I'd have had her wrestle someone else and have her win.
