I know there's examples like Cesaro, Ryback and Curtis Axel that didn't come off as Heyman guys, but the Brock, Punk and Roman successes show its worth trying Bron with him, and I feel certain Seth, Punk and Roman understand the mission, these 3 are going to give Bron the platform to become a top guy, and in truth I think Bron needs that to get beyond his current level, he needs a big storyline push and he's with the guys that know how to make the top storyline of the show to work.
If this McAfee and Gunther thing is used as anything but a vehicle to get Gunther’s heat back, as people inexplicably like McAfee, then I'll throw my first major red flag on Trips. I think there'll be a match but Gunther needs to annihilate him and win, then continue beating him and a face makes the save, transitioning Gunther into a new feud with restored heat.
I'm curious to see how Black (re)debuts, I think it needs to be more substantial than what they did with Rusev.
I genuinely think the Rock, for all his bravado, gets in his feels when he's criticised, when he feels the fans are genuinely upset with him. On the Raw Netflix debut I think he was wrapping up and basically put over Cody and Roman in a non physical way, which in truth I was fine with as neither match is of major interest to me, but lots of fans were angry that he just ended the Final Boss stuff and didn't get in the ring and put anyone over, feeling it was a waste of a year long angle. So he tries to rectify that by making room for a couple of appearances where he has those really schizophrenic promos wanting Cody’s soul, bouncing back and forth between heel and face mid promo, then inserts himself in the heel turn and we don't see him again. I think the heel turn for Cena was planned to go down exactly as it did, just minus the Rock, but he needlessly inserted himself, knowing there's not going to be a pay-off at Wrestlemania.
