A question about Profiles & Microsoft Points

I started my X-Box Live account, bought some MSpoints and have downloaded some add-ons and a full arcade game. Then I created a new Live account so my actual gamer score would show up and get that one month free offer. Now I'd like to delete my first profile once I use up all the MSpoints on it, but Im scared that my downloads will be deleted if I do that. Will I just have to keep it and just use my new account? Or can I get rid of it?

Also, is impossible to give MSpoints to other people? Just wondering if I can transfer the points from the first account, to my new one.
