A question about the NEW Captain Marvel ML figure...

I recently found all of the M.O.D.O.K. Series figures @ a Toys "R" Us in Waterbury, CT. I bought them all but the Thor Buster Ironman because I only like to collect either the most current version of a character or the definitive version. I bought the regular version of Captain Marvel, but I'm not sure if that one or the VARIANT is his most up to date look. Can someone please let me know which one is?

Neither is is most Current Look, but the Varient (White Haired Starry one) is more current. The Standard on is his Definitive version from the 70s.

I have it . it is awesome. the normal one is the most generic looking character ever. oh yeah it has the same body as Taskmaster so the legs suck.
