This is a long shot, but I read a graphic novel in the 90's where the graphic novel opens with a scene where a guy and girl are making out in a car. A tank (yes, tank) fires on the car and not only do the man and woman survive they destroy the tank (and everyone inside) with their bare hands.
The man and woman are super powered.
There is a scene where a solider is stood there and at super speed the man removes the soldiers limbs, first the right arm and then the left so fast the solider doesn't react to the pain.
A very scary vision of what it would be like if Superman went bad. I want to real the graphic novel again but for the life of me I can't remember what the thing is called. An help would be gratefully appreciated.
