Hey guys,
I recently wrote and directed a short film about Joe Chill, the man who inadvertently created Batman. I've always felt he has never been fully explored, and there were a lot of questions that fascinated me that begged to create a story centered around him. What happened before and after he murders the Waynes? How does a homeless man get a hold of an armed weapon?

With endless excitement, I give you THE MAN IN THE SHADOWS.

This film was independently funded through IndieGogo thanks to a number of friends, family, and anybody interested in seeing a fresh take on a younger Gotham City. There are cameos and easter eggs for the Batman fan, but I ultimately aim for this film to be enjoyable for anyone who loves movies, Bat-fan or not.

I hope you give this film a chance, and enjoy it. It's all right if you hate it, all opinions are valid. All I ask for is for your time. If you wish, please feel absolutely free to share the film anywhere you'd like. Thank you so much.

Haven't watched the film cause I'm at work but I gotta say the design and professionalism of the posters is top notch. Really nice work on those.

I love the mixture of modern script writing and use of camera along with the old classic noir-like (not completely noir, I guess we can all agree to that, but it has elements of it).
