A Spider-Man 2 question?

During the scene when Ock demonstrates the tenticles for the first time, did anyone notice the score during the scene?
The score always reminded me of Hellraiser. I was watching Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser on AMC the other day and I heard some of the same score.

Was this some kind of homage that Elfman did to the movie or just coincidence?

Btw, I find it ironic that Christopher Young, who scored Hellraiser 1 & 2 is scoring Spider-Man 3.

chris young did the score to hellraiser, that must be why it sounds like the music from hellraiser.
