I was reading an article on Steven Spielberg today and found out that before Donner took on the 1978 Superman movie, Spielberg was offered it but rejected it.
Spielberg as we all know is a hugely talented and influential film-maker. How do you think a Superman movie directed by him would have turned out?
I wonder if he would have went with Christopher Reeve for the lead, and used a similar type of suit? Would the film still have comedy elements or be more serious? Would Superman have been portrayed totally differently?
I know there's no definitive answers here but it's sometimes fun to speculate .........
