A24 Acquires Icelandic Horror "Lamb"

I liked this, but it's definitely nowhere near a horror film like the trailer makes you believe.

I still audibly gasped at one point though.

So it's a domestic drama with a horror premise that's not scary just disturbing because of its premise?

Everything was good except the ending. The pay off didn’t pay. I couldn’t recommend this one despite all the good that preceded the ending. Go see Titane instead.

I dunno, it works for me because of the grimms fairy tale nature of it all.

There's an uneasiness about the film, but that's about the closest it gets to horror. Fantasy, definitely, but it's mostly just tension because you know something has to go wrong eventually.

I just saw this movie. I don’t really get it. Was there some message this movie was trying to say? It wasn’t a straight up horror but I didn’t feel it was a psychological thriller as I heard some put it too. I was expecting much more from the ending.
