Aaron Eckhart to take on Action Movie Live!

Eckhart in "A Series of Unfortunate Career Choices."

He should've been Jack Ryan for Cinemax/Starz/HBO. Not taking roles Jean-Claude Van Damme passes on.

It's pretty bizarre. He has two genuinely well received movies in The Dark Knight and Thank You For Smoking, but nothing beyond those, right?

They weren't big movies, but he's been good in In the Company of Men (imo his best role), Conversations with Other Women and Rabbit Hole.

I actually thought he was good in Battle: Los Angeles. Even though the movie was pretty meh and forgettable.

He has leading man looks and, imo, the talent. But he just gets sucky roles. I don't really want to see Eckhart as an action lead.

He had a Beach Boys/Dennis Wilson biopic that he was set to star in, but then he dropped out because he was exhausted after I, Frankenstein.

Stupid

Aaron needs to get a good cable drama to resurrect his career.

He's a genuinely good actor too. That's what is so ****ing weird.

We also don't know if those choices are the only ones that came through. He is a fantastic actor. I wanted him for the new season of True Detective.

So I just read that the directors are from the 87Eleven team that spawned the John Wick directors. All of a sudden I'm a little more curious about this.
