ABC's 666 Park Avenue

Well, what are you going to do, just not air anything at 10 on Sundays ?

Sunday was a bad choice in general. Because it is already jam packed anyway with hit & returning shows

Yeah, but again, what are you going to do? You don't just not air anything on Sunday because of competition.

Once Upon a Time is doing great. Revenge is doing better than last season now that it has Once as a lead-in. It's just 666 that's the weak link.

Probably would have picked a different night. But thats just me

With the consistent ratings downfall, I wonder if this will even get a full season.

That would be just my luck. It's kind of moving slow and predictable, but it's still a decent show.

The latest episode was actually up slightly, but it's still not great ratings-wise.

'666 Park Avenue' sets heavily damaged by Hurricane Sandy

In the aftermath of tropical storm Sandy, television sets are hardly a priority -- especially given so many people left without homes, safe drinking water, and power as the nights grow colder. Since we're a television site, though, bear with us a bit!

Cine Magic Riverfront Studios in Brooklyn is right on the East River, putting it directly in Sandy's path of destruction as water levels rose. Cine Magic owner Peter Kapsalis tells EW that at 10 p.m. the night of the storm, the sets of ABC's Sunday night horror-soap "666 Park Avenue" were under about 6 feet of water.

Now, the water has receded. "The Daylight Studio, which carried some of the smaller sets and was a little closer to the water [was] completely demolished," Kapsalis says. "The main sets stayed in place even with the water rushing in [but] everything is extensively damaged."

It will be at least three weeks before production can potentially resume on "666 Park Avenue" in the standing sets, though Kapsalis mentions that the show could work around the delay by shooting on location or in a SoHo studio. While some have speculated that ABC could decide to cut its losses and halt production on the series entirely, all signs point to Warner Bros. getting production back up and running surprisingly quickly.

"Warner Bros. has been a godsend -- I don't know how to say it. They've been very helpful and trying to put the show first, which as a result, is helping us a lot," he says. "[The entertainment business is] one of the strengths of New York's economy and for it to take a hit, it will affect New York greatly." Approximately 200 people based in New York are employed on the series.

I pray this doesn't get canceled. I'm so tired of watching their 10pm shows just to see it canceled.

ABC has just been ****ty with their promotion. It's like they don't want people to know it's supernatural at all. "Here, watch our boring regular old non-supernatural soap opera".

And I don't know why because it is on the same night as OUAT.

Me too. The show is really picking up with some new developments. I just hope we can make it to the end of the season.

I still keep watching this show, but I'm getting a bit tired of the "Birds" and Tippi Hedren references. Are they trying to say something?

Eh. I'm less sad about this than I am about Last Resort. This show disappointed me, and wasted its cast. I even kind of tuned out of the last few episodes just because I figured this was coming. Last Resort was legit perfect. I hope a cable network or Netflix takes a look at it.

The good news is Terry O'Quinn can return on Hawaii Five-0.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. Some on-screen interaction between him and McGarrett's mom would be nice.

You can't just be these big expensive high concept shows on network TV anymore unless you are one of the big procedurals like NCIS.

I think the cost alone on the SHIELD TV series might make it a one and done season show.

Yeah, but no one wants to live in a world where network tv is only made up of procedurals, multicamera sitcoms and reality TV.

That figures. At least they'll show the rest of the season? I hope there is some type of conclusion for this.

It will allow the show to finish and air the initial 13 ep order, then it will be done.

That sucks but I'm not surprised. I think the title was v part of the problem since some of my friends said they didn't watch it due to its title and believing it was about the devil. Plus the wrecked sets v probably played a role in abc canceling it.

But I hope someone at the network realizes that this is the fourth year straight they have canceled a show in this time slot. There has to be a reason why people aren't watching at 10. Or they have to accept 5mill average for that time slot.

Other shows on at 10 on Sunday night. The competition killed this one

Ya but something is wrong when you cancel every show in the last v4 years that have premiered in that time period.

Terry O'Quinn needs to Once Upon A Time now.
