ABC's 666 Park Avenue

As the man behind the curtain, the Wizard of Oz.

wait, they keep The Neighbors but CANCEL 666 Park Avenue :wall::argh::fst:?

Don't blame ABC, blame the ******s that keep watching The Neighbors. :o

I just wish poor Rachael Taylor will get a break maybe she will pull a Alex O'Loughlin, and her 3rd show will get more than oh ONE SEASON.

I'm not surprised they cancelled this. It was not all that interesting, but in comparison to what is on TV it wasn't bad.

I feel bad for Rachel Taylor. She has this and Darkness on her resume. Not only her, but the chick who was on "The Finder", which also got cancelled.

She shouldve just went back to Greys when they wanted her back after Charlies Angels got canceled (which surprisingly held more viewers than all the shows that ABC canceled in the past 2 years)

Rachel Taylor. She left the show for CA then they were going to bring her back after it was cancelled but she went on to 666. She is the Katie Cassidy of the ABC.

She is the Katie Cassidy of the ABC.

LOL...not sure who Katie Cassidy is, but I just remembered Taylor as the Aussie girl from "Transformers". I remembered that because I recently saw "Darkness", but for some reason it never clicked with me on 666 until recently....after I saw "Darkness".

Taylor does seem to make some bad choices though. Perhap she needs a better agent...lol.

Exclusive: Last Resort, 666 Park Avenue Tweaking Final Episodes to Give Fans Closure

Last Resort and 666 Park Avenue will not leave viewers hanging.

Despite ABC pulling the plug on the freshman dramas last week, the brains behind both shows tell TVLine that they were given enough time to turn their respective swan songs into series finales.

“We have time to tweak,” confirms Last Resort creator Shawn Ryan, adding that Episode 13 will indeed function as a full-fledged series finale.

666 exec producers David Wilcox and Matt Miller, meanwhile, tease that their Sunday spookfest “is building to a powerful and surprising series finale, where all your questions will be answered. We hope fans of the show continue watching all the way to the end of Jane and Henry’s incredible journey to the dark side.”

Is it really the end for 666 though? DVR data released last week showed the ratings for the thriller’s Nov. 4 episode spiking a staggering 77 percent — raising hopes that ABC might un-ring the cancellation bell. The news prompted leading man Dave Annable to vent on Twitter that ABC “f—ed up” by axing the series.

But it’s a decision the network appears to be standing by.

While ABC president Paul Lee calls the DVR surge “amazing,” it’s not enough to offset the show’s miniscule live numbers. “It’s wonderful to see the passion [these] shows have,” he says. “We just have to make sure we monetize it.”

Thoughts? Relieved you’ll get a return on the investment you made in both shows? (Additional reporting by Vlada Gelman)

That should be a normal episode order. Giving the show runners enough time to tweak the ending. If it does not end up good. Or just start making short miniseries's now

I was going to stop watching cause what's the point? But I guess I will keep watching since they say they are tying things up.

But all show runners should treat their shows like it's the last season line joss did with buffy unless they know for sure they are coming back.

I agree, but it's not like that applies to this show, where it's not even getting a full season...

Ya but even in general, when they get to that 12th episode, treat it like it is its last. They should know what their general chances are of getting picked up just by looking at the ratings.

I'm glad they'll take the opportunity to provide closure so it won't turn into another "The Gates".

I guess ABC just cant win when it comes to supernatural dramas. I give them an "A" for trying though. They seem to have some success with "Once Upon a Time" though.

The thing with 666 Park, though, is that the way it was promoted showed only the vaguest of supernatural elements. I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone told me they thought it was just a standard nighttime soap opera.

That could be true. It almost seemed they played that down. The pilot was very heavy on the supernatural, but as the show went on it began to become less and less supernatural.

I'm just glad we are getting some type of resolution. You don't see that very often. I liked the show , but one season is probably good enough.

Yeah...me too. When I heard it had been cancelled I thought they were just going to end it after the last episode and I kept thinking that poor Jane is just stuck....where ever in the heck she is....lol.
